Arrived Live and Well
We finally made it home. Let me tell you, it is a long ride to Mrytle Beach and back. We stopped overnight on the way, but drove straight through on the way home. It was really nice seeing the country for 13 hours. Mostly it was nice spending that much time with my family that I love so dearly.
If anyone would like for me to recite for them any of the words or songs to The Jungle Book...just let me know. Audrey watched it over and over and over again. She is so funny, as soon as the movie ended, she yelled out MO MO MO MO! As much as I hate to admit it, the DVD player came in handy, and entertained her alot. She clapped and got so excited everytime that movie played. I am so proud of my little girl. For such a long time in the car, she was absolutely wonderful.
Ward and I took her to the Ripley's Aquarium, and she just loved it. (I have attached a few pictures) We didn't take her stroller, because that thing is so large, it needs it's on vehicle. The one she is in was a rental. I did hesitate to use it, but Audrey is at a stage that she demands to either ride in her stroller or be carried everywhere she goes. After a few minutes of holding her, my arms go numb. I did however wipe it down with Lysol Disinfectant. The look on her face in that rental stroller is priceless. She didn't like it at all!
She whimpered only once when Ward tilted her up only to see a huge shark swimming over her head. I guess at her view point, I would whimper to. At the end of the day, she was just bushed as were we. She just crawled up on the sofa with her favorite stuffed animal "Penny"(never leave home without her) and fell fast asleep. What a sweet little baby, and how lucky I am to have her.
